iRest® Yoga Nidra Dyad
Using the steps one would experience in an iRest® Yoga Nidra class, a dyad is a one to one experience that uses dialogue and inquiry. It is a form of co-meditation in which the giver (Sheila) is asking questions and the receiver answers with what is present in the moment. There is no agenda to change or fix. You are supported in simply allowing whatever is present to unfold. Clients may come with a specific issue they wish to explore or make a general inquiry. This process allows negative repetitions to reveal themselves and brings awareness to patterns we hold deep in the mind, body or spirit. Clients may leave with a plan of action and a felt sense of being seen and heard.

Performed on a massage table, the client wears lightweight comfortable clothing. In addition to tuning forks, sessions often include Tibetan Bowls, chimes, voice, and other elements of sound.
Chakra Balancing
Chakra balancing utilizes tuning forks, vocal toning and visualization to bring awareness and balance to the seven major chakras located in and along the spine. Client lies on a massage table fully clothed and is lead through this clearing, rejuvenating and calming process.Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means wheel or disc. Chakras reside in the energetic field that surrounds and encompasses the body and are responsible for regulating energy. The nervous system is affected by the Chakras, both physically and mentally. Chakras become out of balance through everyday life stresses, environments and personal habits, and can contribute to ill health, depression, insomnia, addiction and more. Clients are given a handout in order to use this calming and balancing practice at home.
